MARCHIGUE VASE – STEFANO PUGLIESE

The Marchigüe (1) vases collection seeks simplicity and purity of design through a conceptual exercise on the interaction and synthesis between form (2) , shape and decoration. A pair of two-dimensional shapes, a circle and a hexagon, are linked together to form (3) the raw material, concrete, into a finely crafted object. The design process, clearly visible on the surface of the vases, thus becomes the only decorative element of these monochromatic volumes.
